How It All Began

It all started with our first open-sourced repository, which included numerous resources about monitoring. The success of this project and the positive feedback from the community encouraged us to take it to the next step. Jan practically compelled me to add a blog feature to our website. Admittedly, it took me a while to finally get started – but here we are!

Why Another Blog?

You might be wondering, "Everyone's doing a blog, so why start another one?" The answer lies in our vision: We aim to create a beneficent / useful resource focused on production-ready solutions. Our goal is to go beyond homelab integrations or hobby projects and guide you through real implementations in production environments.

You can look forward to some exciting posts in the near future. I'm currently delving into the concepts of LangChain – a framework for developing applications with language models – and building an enterprise-ready RAG application.

Although I'm relatively new to frontend development, it's proving to be an exciting challenge that's working out great so far. This journey into new territories is part of what makes this blog unique – we're learning and growing alongside our readers.

Mauro, our resident homelab enthusiast, brings a wealth of hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in personal environments. As for me, I contribute my background in IT architecture and my growing expertise in software engineering. Together, we form a diverse and complementary group, combining practical know-how and enterprise-level-thinking to bring you well-rounded, production-ready insights.
